XPPen India – Limited Warranty Policy

XPPen India (“XP-Pen” or “XPPen”) warrants to the original purchaser (“Purchaser” or “you”) that the Deco, Star, Artist, CP and AC series devices (“Product”) shall be free from material defects in workmanship, materials, and design during the applicable warranty period, when used under normal conditions and in accordance with all operating instructions.

This Limited Warranty applies only to products purchased within India through official authorized sales channels.

1. Warranty Period

The warranty period begins from the date of original purchase:

  • Pen Tablets, Displays, Android Tablets, AC Accessories: 12 months
  • Other accessories included in the box set: 3 months

2. Eligibility

This Limited Warranty:

  • Applies only to Products manufactured by or for XPPen and identified by the “XPPen” trademark, trade name, or logo.
  • Is valid only for Products purchased from the official XPPen India website (www.xp-pen.co.in) or other authorized official sales channels within India.
  • Is available only to the original purchaser.
  • Is non-transferable and non-assignable.
  • Does not apply to non-XPPen products or software.

3. Warranty Service

During the applicable warranty period, XPPen will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair or replace defective parts under normal usage conditions.
  • Use new or refurbished replacement parts where necessary.

This warranty covers parts and labor only. Shipping, delivery, or related service costs may be borne by the Purchaser at XPPen’s discretion.

Proof of purchase (dated invoice or receipt) may be required to claim warranty service.

4. What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Abuse, accident, misuse, improper storage, or exposure to liquid or moisture
  • Fire, flooding, sand, dirt, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, or other external causes
  • Extreme weather conditions, theft, blown fuse, or improper electrical usage
  • Software issues, viruses, bugs, worms, Trojan horses, cancel-bots
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper installation, testing, maintenance, modification, or alteration
  • Use other than normal and customary operation
  • Service performed by unauthorized service providers
  • Consumable parts (e.g., batteries), unless defective due to manufacturing fault
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) from normal use
  • Spillage, corrosion, rust, or incorrect voltage
  • Shipping damage or other acts not attributable to XPPen
  • Cellular network or signal-related issues

5. Operational Disclaimer

XPPen does not warrant that the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Warranty Void Conditions

This warranty will be void if:

  • The serial number or warranty seal is altered, defaced, or removed
  • Any term of this warranty is modified without prior written consent of XPPen
  • XPPen is not notified of the defect within the applicable warranty period

7. Out-of-Warranty Service

Products returned after the warranty period will be serviced as per XPPen’s prevailing service policies, and applicable charges will apply.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • XPPen’s liability shall be limited to the actual cash value of the Product at the time it is returned for repair (purchase price less reasonable usage/wear).
  • XPPen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, savings, business opportunity, downtime, or third-party claims.
  • XPPen shall not be liable for delay in service or loss of use during the repair period.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In such cases, certain limitations above may not apply.

Limitation of Implied Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are limited in duration to the applicable warranty period stated above.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties. In such cases, this limitation may not apply.

Exclusive Remedy

This Limited Warranty provides the Purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy. It replaces all other warranties, whether oral, written, statutory, express, or implied.

No agent, employee, distributor, or dealer is authorized to modify this warranty or provide additional warranties on behalf of XPPen.

Legal Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary by region.
