The Deco Pro (Gen 2) meets and exceeds my expectations. It connects to my android tablet, android phone and both of my windows pcs via bluetooth with no issues at all. The 16K levels of pressure sensitivity work wonderfully. It was easy to register at xp-pen and get my free graphics software, although I mostly use Corel Painter 2023.

I recently had developed some intense wrist pain from using a mouse all day for my job. This is a great substitution for daily mouse use with my PC. For reference I am an architect and do not recall having seen any reviews from a similar profession (i.e. not strictly reviewed geared for more artist use). It did take a little to get used to the hover with the pen (when you make contact it “clicks” or draws depending on mode). My transition to using no traditional mouse at all took about a month and I don’t miss it.

I purchased this as a gift for my SO who is artistically talented; but is accustomed to using canvas, paper and similar traditional mediums for their work (sketching, painting with watercolor/acrylics, oil and pastels). The medium size is BIG but in a good way, assuming you have the real-estate for it on your desk. Getting used to the way the input works quickly becomes second nature (by input I'm referring to pen movements on the tablet while looking at a computer screen rather than the tablet and your hands).

I love this tablet! Lightweight, quality construction, good sensitivity, and a ton of features. Well worth the price! I use it for some less common applications, such as Maya, Mudbox, and ZBrush for 3D sculpting, along with Substance Painter for model texturing. In all of these programs (with the exception of Mudbox, a software which isn't listed as supported) the tablet works amazingly! So much better than sculpting by mouse.

The Deco 01 V2 is a wonderful tablet at an affordable price. I’ve been using it for 2+ years for creating educational content and to teach online. The writing is very smooth.
