I’ve had this tablet for a little over a week now and I really love it. The price on this one was really tempting so I bit the bullet.

The packaging was pretty impressive and all of the necessary cords that came with it saved my a shopping trip. I read about Wacom’s 13inch tablet and from what I see this is very similar. Matte screen, battery-less, Full HD display, same as a Wacom. The one advantage I see thus far on this is the price and not needing a plug for it to work (although it does come with one, so I guess it depends on the computer). Also coming from someone whose previous tablet was plain glass with no protective cover, it was surprisingly easy to get used to drawing on matte.

It does overheat a bit but as long as you have a stand it’ll be good ( I work on my bed so it just leaves a big warm spot). Also it may come out a little bright when first used, but it can be adjusted. Colors come out very accurate to my computer screen, but then again my computer and this tablet share the same resolution.

All in all this tablet works great so far, I’ll probably update this the more I use it. For anyone that wants one of those fancy Wacom Cintiqs but can’t afford one, this tablet might be a great alternative!

It works extremely well as a drawing tablet, as I have yet to come across any significant issues. It works well in Photoshop & Clip Studio, with accuracy and pressure being as advertised.

One great thing to note is, if you have a 2016 or 2017 macbook pro. you’ll be able to power this entire monitor without plugging it into the wall. In my case, I’m powering it only with my macbook and it’s working wonderfully.

It’s a great little drawing tablet! Full support for Windows 10, doesn’t take a lot of power to run. Perfect “off brand.” I definitely recommend this to artists who cannot afford the Wacom price. There aren’t any real drawbacks to speak of aside from not having its own stand or having to purchase one from XP Pen.
